History

Initially, DARE Beauty functioned as a one-person operation, with Allayne serving as the sole employee. Consequently, the salon's hours were limited, only opening after 5 pm. However, with the addition of Naksha to the team, we can now offer more flexible appointment times throughout the day, allowing us to cater to a broader client base. It's important to note that we still operate by appointment only to ensure that we can give each client our undivided attention.

We kindly request that clients arrive on time for their appointments. In the event of lateness, we may have to shorten the treatment duration to keep on schedule for our next client. Both Naksha and Allayne value punctuality and strive to maintain a strict schedule. In case of any changes, we appreciate our clients letting us know as soon as possible, and we are always happy to reschedule.

At DARE Beauty, we place a strong emphasis on promoting Australian-made products as we believe that they are of the highest quality in the country. Our range of products includes renowned brands such as ASAP Skin care and Make up, Caron Wax, and Soliare 2-hour Tanning. We take great pride in supporting local Australian brands and showcasing their excellence to our clients.

In 2002, Allayne conceptualized DARE Beauty with the vision of revolutionizing the way people perceive beauty. Having faced challenges with her skin and witnessing the discomfort and exorbitant prices of existing beauty therapy salons, Allayne aimed to create a haven where clients could receive professional treatments in a relaxed atmosphere. The objective of DARE Beauty has always been to provide clients with a comfortable environment similar to visiting a friend's home, but with the expertise of professional therapists. The salon's ethos is to inform clients about available products without coercing them into purchasing them, based on the belief that one can only sell what they genuinely love.

In 2014, DARE Beauty faced an unfortunate incident where it burnt down at its previous location at 114 Takalvan Street, Bundaberg. The recovery process was extensive, and it took three years for DARE Beauty to rise from the ashes. However, the salon's team remained determined to emerge stronger and with a more refined sense of direction. This was possible due to the contribution of the right personnel who worked diligently alongside the salon's management.

At DARE Beauty, we take pride in promoting Australian-made products as we believe that they are the best in the country. Our products include top-quality items such as ASAP Skin care and makeup, Caron Wax, and Soliare 2-hour Tanning. We are also excited to introduce DARE 2.0, which marks a new beginning for DARE Beauty.

Our new salon, located at 99 FE Walker Street (with the door situated under the carport), offers three treatment rooms and a more intimate setting. Our goal remains to provide professional services while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that makes our clients feel at ease.
